Hello. I have read these forums a lot in the last few weeks and I am just feeling a little unclear about some things
I have read up that some cpu and gpu combos may suffer from a bottleneck problem and that is where I am unclear about if I should change my current setup or not.
Currently I am running an i7 920. It is not overclocked as I do not know how to do it and do not feel comfortable doing it. I recently purchased an AMD 280X as from what I read an i7 920 shouldn't bottleneck it. I could be wrong there and am sure I may be.
So my question is would it be worth my time to upgrade my CPU to a more current one?. I was looking at purchasing an i5 4690 as the i7 processors are out of my price range.
