Hello, im wondering why my computer that i built a month ago is now making a strange rattling/rumbling sound coming from my cpu fan, the first few weeks it was fine but after i reapplied thermal paste because my cpu temps were very high it makes a strange rattling/rumbling sound. it is very faint but you can still hear it. the only things i could think of is a wire is bumping the fan or that i bumped one of the blades while reapplying the paste. if anyone knows what i can do to make the noise stop that would be great. PS it is just a regular stock fan.

Solution
most any good cpu cooler will have mounting brackets for current systems. if your case can handle it a 212+ or evo will do the trick, if you need smaller a noctua NH-L9a will work for amd systems, the NH-9i is for intel.
