Hello my computer crashes and brings up these weird lines on the screen they come down vertically and are always different colours. I have to restart my computer when this happens, It only happens when I am in games or intense tasks and the temps are normal at about 70ish degrees

My pc parts:

Msi H77MA-G43
i5 3570k
Asus R9 280x DirectCU ii
8gb of Apacer Panther Ram
Zalman Zm700-GLX

And I have 2 screens a 1080p and a 1600p in landscape

I am just wondering if it is the motherboard because I have tested it with a i5 3340 and it did the same thing and I tryed it with a Msi 7850 at it did the same thing all I have not swapped out yet is the motherboard and the ram

Any ideas?

Thanks

lol thats the same thing that happens to my 7950 when i go over 1950 on the memory OC but when u said that u tried it with a different GPU and it did the same thing hmm

it is either the Motherboard or the Power supply i would guess the POWER supply as u said it only starts when ur PC start drawing power

When I had the 7850 in there I had a 530 watt powersupply and it also did the same thing and I have read up on the power requirements of the card and most people recommend a 600 or 650 watt so... could it be a faulty psu? And is there a way to test it?
