I just build a new pc (except the optical drive and hdd) with z97-hd3 mobo and i5 4690 cpu. Now when i installed my old hard drive, it does not boot in windows 7 preinstalled in hdd, windows 7 logo screen shows up and then i get the BSOD . I checked the SATA configurations and it was set on AHCI mode as a default, i changed it to IDE and SATA and still no luck.
Will i have to reinstall the windows if yes then can someone guide me installing it from any other medium other than the optical drive as my optical drive is also not working.
