I just purchased an FM2A88X Extreme6+ from ASRock combo'd with an A10 quad core amd processor and installed it into my new case along with all my previous components.
The gpu is 6770 radeon hd with 1gbvram i believe.
PSU- 500 W
OS- win7 (freshly installed for mobo)
Memory-2gb DDR3 1333 (6 more gb on the way)
My old motherboard was a mATX factory default of a 2006 pc that came with vista which had a Duo-Core processor and 4gb DDR2 installed. Needless to say, this is a BIG improvement.
After all the updated drivers were installed from the website I noticed my headset wasn't being detected on my pc. The usb3.0 port powers my headset (as proven by the green light on my headset volume control) but nowhere is it detected on the pc itself. The computer seemed lightning quick on it's initial bootup (when windows 8 was still installed and the drive hadn't been wiped) but after swd=itching to windows 7 my pc has only wrought sheer frustration and pain. Everything it does is so painfully slow. It takes 15-25 seconds just for chrome to open and bootup is 5 minutes.I'm at my wits end. I don't know what else to do. I should mention that although my dedicated gpu was detected and is being used as my primary,my games won't let me change the res to 1920x1080 only a 1600x???? setting. But even then, my pc is so slow I get booted from servers before I finish loading in. I tried to be as descriptive as possible so any help is appreciated.

I've installed the drivers for my motherboard near 3 times already. I was thinking that it could possibly be my RAM, but my old system ran fine at 2gb, and of course, better at 4gb(it's max). Could it just be that with the new mobo 2gb really isn't enough? Because that's the best way to describe what happens= the pc slows to a crawl
