I want to upgrade my memory and I`ve been reading on the Intel official web page. On the Intel DH61BE description it says: "16 GB maximum total system memory (with 4 Gb memory technology)". I don´t know what this means. Would the Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) work? This board only has two DIMM sockets.

Solution
Yes they will work, the 4Gb refers to the 4Gb memory chip technology that is used on basically all the new lines of DDR3, used to use 2Gb (lower density) memory chips

if your are using the pc for gaming just get 8Gb 2x4Gb 1333 DDR3 ram 8 Gbs is best for gaming anything more is over kill plus you will save alot of money just going 8Gb you will see no performance increase with 16Gb from 8Gb

Hi Matiuru1
Just to confirm, I have just swapped out my old Corsair CMX8GX3M2A1333C9 XMS3 4GB modules and replaced them with Corsair CML16GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance LP modules to give me 16GB. All seems to be OK. My BIOS information reads as follows: Intel Corp. BEH6110H.86A.0016.2011.0118.1128, 18/01/2011
