Alright well let me just start by saying im using my cell phone to write this.

Make: Asus P7P55d deluxe.

Stupidity is really the cause for this post.

I built this cumputer and it ran fine for 4 years i loved it.

But i got impatient with it trying to figure out the reason for a non working networking card..

I tried to plug it in to the slot while the pc was still running -- big mistake -- there was an arc that jumped from network card to graphics card. Radeon hd 5850

Now im not getting anything going to usb mouse, usb keyboard, usb flash drive, monitor, and the power/ reset button fail to work.

No visual blown circuitry on motherboard. Fan on graphics card spins.

Hear a beep when i turn on the mobo using power button on mobo. So i assume its making it to post.

Hard drive sounds like its spinning, disk drive opens. Heatsink fan spinning, other fans (case fans) not working.

Any help with this issue greatly appreciated as i am writing a screenplay and really need to finish the rough draft soon!!

Thanks,

Chris
