I have an upcoming up build, I'm happy with everything but the PSU, I can't decide which to get.
Specs;
CPU- AMD FX 4300
RAM - Corsair Vengence Blue 2X2gb 1600Mhz
Motherboard - Asus M5A78L-M/USB3
Case - Aerocool GT-Advance
HDD - 320GB WD Clean Pull
GPU - XFX 260X
and the PSUS I can't decide - CoolerMaster Elite 500W (70% Efficient) or EVGA 430W 80+
Please I need help, I'm a newbie when it comes to building PC. I don't plan overclocking and yes this is for gaming. I don't know if I'll need the extra 70W.
The CoolerMaster is £3/$4:50 cheaper. I'm also not sure if it had the right amount of pin connector to power the GPU.
Thanks

Based on $ saved the 430 watt one will save much more over its lifetime. 70% efficient is very very bad...

With all due respect, your opinion is inaccurate. Additionally, pcpartpicker wattage requirements are meant as a guideline only. But maybe aaronfield is right and all of these are wrong:

... drunk are we again? 19 amps is the first ones recommended for the +12V. The EVGA CX430 has 32 amps. Plus all of those other forum postrs involved low efficiency crappy PSU's. EVGA makes good PSU. Look, 430 watts will be fine w/o overclocking.
