Hello everyone my power supply recently started making a loud high pitched noise that seems to get progressively worse. Now my computer has started to shut off randomly and it is hard to duplicate the process. At times it would shut off when I started a game that was a bit cpu intensive or opening something simple like google chrome but there would be times where it would shut off before I log into windows or right after I log into it. I use speedfan and the temps are usually below 40 c. If I unplug the power supply and run it by itself using the paperclip method its quiet and doesn't have a high pitched noise. As long as I don't do anything high intensive it seems to run fine other than the psu making a high pitched noise. My parts are over a 1 year now coming up to 2 towards the end of the year.
