The case i have is the NZXT H440, And i want to replace the front 3 fans. I don't really care what the color is because you won't be able to see them on this case. i just need it to be good, And quiet. any suggestions would be helpful, Thanks.

Solution

UMM there is a solution to getting a cooler cpu. Get a water cooling kit. Get an H80I or something similar.

@ThemagicalLwallaby that is not true what you have said. I can hear the back fans spinning and I can only hear my corsair quiet edition fan when I get up close to the computer and front I can barely hear it at all but the top has some area to escape that is why I can hear the fan when I get close and as the front there is only...

I have the H440 also and the front is the most quietest fan out of my 2 other fans that is 1 corsair silent edition(not even silent) and the stock fan at the back. The front 3 are the most quiet fans and I can barely hear them so I don't see why you want to replace the front. The fan nose is coming from the rear fan.

Ok thanks for advice, i won't replace them. i just thought i would get a better performance by replacing them

Honestly if better cooling is what you want, the H440 isn't a very good case for your needs.

He only needs to replace the back fan to a quieter fan and he will be good because all the noise is coming from the rear fan. I would know because I have this case in my current build.

Solution

I am talking about the stock fans. Not aftermarket fans. The stock fans are only loud because they run at max RPM. Some fans are not loud at their max RPM's (the AF140 being one of them). I told him to stick with the stock fans as replacement fans won't perform any better when it comes to cooling[/b in regards to the front ] which is where most people are concerned about the intake performance.

I am saying all the fans are quiet the 3 intake fans in the front are quiet as hell. Its the back case fan that is annoyingly loud and if he replaces that with a quieter fan he won't have any noise. I am talking noise wise.
