Here is what I have so far,

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9gYGwP

Color matching is very important to me. This PC will be used for CAD, Gaming and Schoolwork. I also plan on doing an overhaul in about two years to add more ram, upgrade the video cards (2 or 3 way sli) and to water cool the whole system for overclocking.

Any advice for a first time builder would be appreciated thanks!

Jon

hmm best newegg i can do is this
as far as aesthetics well 350D looks pretty cool in my opinion and its micro atx
but yes sure you can get z97 with your perfect looks but i think you should consider hardware more than aesthetics as this will last you a lot longer.

Like I said before, looks and asthetics is very important to me. This price is excluding the sleeved cables I chose, it is using a full tower case (which is too big for my desk, sorry I should have mentioned that).

Also I priced mine out using Newegg, which has free shipping and no sales tax to my state, Amazon and other companies charge either tax or shipping, which would put this build well over $1750.

I really appreciate the time and effort you put in, but my priorities and budget is a bit too different from what you built.

Thanks for the response!

Jon
