I've had this custom built for about 2 years. 8 Months into using it to play games, I began to notice small fps drops. I wasn't very fussy so I didn't let it bother me. By the time my first year of ownership came around, the fps drops worsened, meaning that I redid the whole cooling system so that everything remained at a good temperature. This didn't fix the problem, but it definitely helped and was the right thing to do. So in the end I just avoided playing intensive games on the PC I built to do exactly that (I was really sick of dealing with it so I just gave in). Around a few months ago, all my games crashed on start up, which was when I became sick of it all and reformatted my PC. This fixed everything and made me incredibly happy. And that brings us to the present. As it stands I can play games like CS:GO, League of legends and TF2 absolutely fine. However upon starting up anything with very impressive graphics (Such as Euro Truck 2) my PC completely shuts off after about 10 minutes. This wasn't the case yesterday as it was running fine and nothing has changed on my PC since then with the exception of a Java update.

The reason I felt the need to point out all my past problems is because I doubt I'm unlucky and had a tonne of thing's go wrong on my PC, there has to be something wrong with it causing all of these wierd-ass problems and it honestly pains me everyday. So if anyone could possibly help me you have no idea how grateful I would be

My specs

AMD Radeon HD Powercolour 7970
AMD FX-8350 eight core processor
8GB RAM
Windows 8.1
ASUS M5A7-M USB3
750 watt ANTEC PSU

It's usually staying at around 60 - 70 during games. I don't understand though, why would it begin to overheat in the space of a day considering I was able to play it the day before it started happening perfectly fine?

I have quadruple checked that I'm running the right drivers, I get paranoid that there's been an update like everyday.
