hey i need some help and advice on overclocking.

(FX-8350,Noctua NH-U9B SE2, carbide series spec-2, AsRock 990FX KILLER, corsair CX750M, EVGA GTX770 SC 4GB, WD Black 1TB)

i currently have it oc'd to 3.600. i know its nothing but this is my first time and i want to make sure im doing it right.

so its 3.6 MHz with the CPU VID at 1.3625. running Prime95 for a half hour gives me a CPU temp of 63C and a core temp of 45C. i want to get to 4.0 MHz

i used the paste that came with the Noctua heatsink. also the heatsink is faced upwards which wont let me put the pull fan on the heatsink with my 2 corsair fans on top so i just took off the pull fan from the heatsink and the 2 top case fans share the pull work for the radiator. those 2 fans are on the CPU headers too. (the gap between the radiator and the 2 fans is around 3/4 of an inch) ill post a pic if needed

Yes, post a pic, but your modification is not working well with those reported temps.

I just sent a form in for a 90 degree adapter for the heatsink from Noctua's website. I'm pretty sure its free. I would like to keep this thread open for my overclocking after i get the bracket.
