I'm upgrading from a Pentium to a Xeon.

From what I can tell I already have the latest BIOS installed. Here is the link to the mobo at the manufacturers website.

The system settings in BIOS tell me that the current BIOS version is B75BR425.

Does this mean that I do have the latest BIOS version installed?

If I do have the latest BIOS version installed, do I still need to perform the "upgrade" (using the same BIOS file that is already installed) prior to installing the new CPU for some reason? Maybe to reset settings that have been applied according to the CPU currently in the system?
