Hi there,

I have narrowed my RAM choices down to the following options:

2x8GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 1866MHz DDR3

2x8GB G.SKILL Sniper 2133MHz DDR3 RAM

G.SKILL RipjawsX 2x8GB DDR3 2133MHz

2x8GB G.SKILL Ripjaws 1866MHz DDR3 1866

2x8GB Adata XPG Extreme Series 2133MHz DDR3

2x8GB G.SKILL Sniper 2400MHz DDR3 Ram

Which would be the best for my build?

(OC'ing the ram is something I am keen to try)

Asus z87 Extreme Motherboard
I5 4670K OC'd to 4.3
GTX 770 4gb SLI

Regards,

Ben

For gaming 1600/1866mhz is fine. I would go for Corsair Dominator Platinum, But you dont need 16GB, 8gb will be fine and just put the rest of the cash towards an ssd or better graphics card

I went for 1866mhz Corsair Dominator Ram x16gb (2x8).

I did not know much about the ram specifics, but the corsair ram had much lower timings/latency than the Sniper which swayed my decision making.

I went for 16gb basically because I could, and because I already am running SSD's and my SLI is performing well (That and replacing it is not going to be cost effective currently even with the $150 saved on ram)

Thank you both for your comments
