What's the difference between these two (Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3) or (Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P)? Could I buy the cheaper one(...-DS3)?

Setup:
AMD FX-Series FX-8320
Cooler Master HYPER 212 EVO
Crucial Ballistix 8GB DDR3 PC3-12800
Gigabyte AMD/ATI Radeon R9 280 3GB GDDR5
Western Digital Black 1TB 7200RPM SATA3 64MB
Fortron FSP ATX 2.3 88+ 700W
GF Aresze Intruder ATX-7622B

Solution

Id go with the Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P. The Ds3 is 4+1 vrms iirc, and the ud3p is 8+2. Basically the load is split into several phases. More phases equals more reliable operation and less heat.
