FTW models typically just have higher base clocks. Meaning they come to you pre-overclocked so you don't have to do it if you don't want to. The thing I would be looking at is the cooling options and the warranties.

EVGA will have the better card and the best warranty and customer service out there IMO. I have two EVGA 780ti dual classifieds and EVGA has taken vary good care of me. The twin frozr model is not a bad one, but it is better than the Gigabyte versions.
