ASUS X99-Deluxe: No CPU core ratios above 35, when 100 Mhz BCLK frequency is set. Any ideas?

Hello guys,
Either i'm doing something really stupid or i have weird problem with X99-Deluxe MB.
Generally my problem is, that any CPU core ratio above 35 will not be applied if the BCLK frequency is set to 100.
For example there is not such problem, if the BCLK is set to 120 or 125.

Additionally:
I also noted, that any change in CPU ratio auto enables "Turbo Mode".
And vice versa - disabling of "Turbo Mode" sets "CPU Core Ratio" to "Auto".

As a rule, any ratio, even correctly shown in "Ai Tweaker" leads to CPU speed of 3500 Mhz after restart.

Anyone got the same problem?
Any ideas?

Actually I think I have the same problem as you do, I have the Asus Rampage V Extreme, no matter what the ratio won't change even when I set it to sync all cores and gave it enough voltage. I haven't try other things like BCLK to others but I'm not an overclocker, I was just doing it for curiosity. So it doesn't really matter to me, just weird.

Hello -Lone-,
Thanks for your input.
I also am not a hardcore overclocker, but i would love to have a bit more "power" for my money :)
I thought, it will not be so hard to overclock such system, so "hitting this wall", kind of pisses me off.

Yeah, I did hear there was some OC issues with the x99 boards before I bought them, so I guess they were partially true, the ones I heard didn't have to do with this. But yeah, it kinda sucks, I kinda want to be at maybe 4.0 instead of 3.5 like I've always been at.

Update:
My initial statement, that everything works OK with BCLK 120 or 125 is false.
Actually the problem exists at these frequencies too.

So, actually i start thinking, that the problem is not in the MB at all. It looks like the CPU multiplier is locked (somehow). I'm talking about 5930K.

Hmm, that would be interesting, maybe it's time for a little Intel live chat, lol :)

Well, i actually succeeded to go up to 4s :)
Using BCLK overclock, i got 120 x 34 = 4080 Mhz.
To be honest, i'm OK with such result (using air-cooling).
But i read, that BCLK overclock limits dramatically CPU overclock abilities... So, i wanted to push a bit harder...

Anyway, if you want some 4s, you may try pushing BCLK a bit ;)

Haha, okay, thanks. I don't really need anymore computer power, but I'll try it later today :) Thanks for the suggestion, you deserve a self best answer! lol :D

:)
You are welcome.
But, i prefer to keep the topic opened ;) Possibly some specialist will participate too ;)
