I replaced my laptop and when i hooked up the new computer there was no signal to the TV. I ran it to my HT receiver an the TV did not get a signal.It works when connected directly to the TV. I was told that an integrated video card will not "see" this set up.
I dropped the old laptop - Lenovo - and I can see the HDMI connector is damaged. Can that be replaced/repaired?
I am stuck and need to either fix old one or find a new replacement that won't cost me $1000 or more.
