Transfer speed between internal SSD and HDD super slow

Hi guys, i've built a new PC and have had it running for about a week now. Today I decided to copy some files from my SSD to HDD because i had accidentally saved them to SSD which i intend for softwares and OS only.
Now, during the transfer, i noticed my speeds were absolutely abysmal! The speeds started at 200MB/s + and then fluctuated for a few seconds then just straight up plummeted to 10MB/s and then down to 200KB/s and from there on up and down between 350KB/s - 15MB/s.

I haven't installed much on my PC at all, I keep everything will organised in set directories and my SATA config is already AHCI.

My build is:

i7 4790k
16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM
MSI GTX 970
240GB SSD as OS drive
1TB Seagate hybrid HSSD as secondary
1TB WD Black as third

Any help would be much appreciated!

Cheers

Kevin

I would do some smart checks on the hdd and on the ssd for that matter.
Do both drives have plenty of room on them or are they almost maxed out?

It shows you have 2 magnetic drives. Is the transfer speed the same from the ssd to both drives, or from one magnetic to the other one?

Hey boosted1g,
all drives have plenty of room. The 240GB SSD has more than half of it's usable capacity free, and the other two drives have over 900GB free.
The SSD to the WD Black transfers around 70/80MB/s, consistent. SSD to Seagate hybrid seems to encounter the low speeds as stated above. WD to Seagate also seems to encounter low speeds as stated above.
Would i be safe to assume the Seagate hybrid is faulty?

My motherboard is the Asus ROG Maximus Hero VII

Okay, so after downloading the Seagate tools, i tried to run a fix and a scan, but it wouldn't do it for the drive. It just hung and the test status bar didn't budge at all. Any ideas? :(
