Hey, guys, just a real quick question. I'm building a new PC and my current PC, which is fairly old, has a 300GB Western Digital HDD that I'm operating off of for now (Windows 7 installed).
When I build my PC, I'll be using an SSD as my boot-drive (new OS) and using the HDD as storage.
Will having the OS on the HDD matter? Will I need to format anything or will it be plug-and-play?
My current understanding is to boot the new PC from BIOS, set the SDD as the primary, install the OS, power off and then plug in the HDD. Is that correct?
