Hello, i got a big problem. My computer is freezing almost everytime, sometimes when i dont do anything and sometimes when im just surfing on the internet or gaming.
This happend after i mounted my amd fx8350 and changed my cabinet.

specs :
cpu : amd fx8350
gpu : xfx r9 280x
psu : corsair tx750w
mobo : gigabyte 970a ud3
ram : corsair vengeance 8gb 1600mhz (only running on 1333mhz)
ssd : kingston 240gb
hdd: seagate 2tb
so any clue? havent overclocked anything.
i did a fresh install of windows for some weeks ago since i got my ssd. And after i upgraded my cpu and cabinet, my computer is freezing all the time. My cpu temp is stable at 35c and around 40-50c when im gaming. I scanned for virus and removed all of it.

I have also updated my bios to the f8f version (beta version) when i got my fx 8350.. http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3907#bios

my gpu temp is stable at 47c and under load and gaming about 55-60c
please answer. Need help:(

yes!

but when i installed the cabinet, it was two cables (sound) ac97 or hd audio. I have tried to switch both of them, and the comp is still freezing.

anything else i could try?

I mean the build, out of the case, on a cardboard box.

Install your CPU,Cooler, RAM, GPU and Drives to your board. Nothing else. Connect all the required power cables from your PSU and then see if it helps the problem.

This external build (out of the case) will be able to test if the motherboard standoffs in the case are causing grounding issues.

I've done that now, the only cables from my cabinet is the power button and the led lights
