Well, as the title says, I have an R9 270X with a AMD 8350 CPU. But when I play newer games, such as Arma 3, I get like a high of 20 FPS and a low of 2. When I built this new computer, I didn't do a fresh install of windows, I took this HDD out of my other computer. a 1tb. And it runs fine with every day things. But, I also get a CPU Warning at a temp of 65 Degrees Centigrade. Anyone know anything to help? Please and thanks!

I just thought of something.

I've heard that it's possible to grab a few more frames by setting shadows to the Ultra setting. I forget what it is exactly, but this information comes from a friend of mine who belongs to a very prominent Arma 3 realism unit. Might be something to try.

Everything else set to low. You can also try lowering the internal resolution, that is, the opposite of supersampling. That always has a dramatic effect on framerate.

You have a good rig, but Arma 3 is just really resource demanding.

As for the GPU, you might try reseating it. If it really is damaged, then I'm sorry for your loss. And, as always, do try cleaning the dust out of your system, if any is there. That is always beneficial.

Well, I was playing at Standard I think it was and got around 20. I wish it was more optimized. I wanna upgrade my PC a lot more. I've been getting a lot of texture glitches on my screen, such as flashing squares and lines. Pretty annoying. I think my GPU is damaged.
