Hello, a few days ago i went into my local computer store to buy more ram (upgrading from 4gb to 8gb) and went ahead to get the kingston hyperx 8gb 1600mhz ram and went to install it, all went good and some games got a bit more fps than normal, then i go to battlefield 4, and after like 20 minutes(btw it does it every time i play the game and before the ram upgrade it didnt happen) it freezes but the computer doesnt i can tab out like i normally can, then i went to task manager and found that the ram usage on the game didnt change at all(im guessing its because it crashed but it doesnt show that is not responding) so can somebody please help me, what should i do? If its not my ram then what is it? Thanks

First go to your bios/uefi and check if XMP profile is enabled (most kingston hyperx models use XMP profiles). If that's enabled and you still have the issue I would run memtest and see what the results are, it will take awhile to run but it will let you know if you have any issues with the memory.
