Was reading about my Mobo for specs. GA-78LMT-USB3. Rev 5.0.

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4305#ov

On the website, it says it has support for Crossfire and Sli. But I only have one PCI-e slot, so how is that even possible? :S

I know it's not, I just don't understand why they would say that the Mobo supports it. When I bought my pc, it was advertised as Crossfire ready. When it's clearly not. (But that is PC World for you. Never want anything to do with them again)

Is the website just generalizing? Kind of false advertisement if you ask me.

"PCI Express 2.0 graphics interfaces for ATI Hybrid CrossFireX support" meaning the chip itself can support xfire and i'm guessing it refers to pairing the integrated graphics with another low-end graphics card from the same generation.

I wouldn't call it false advertising as you didn't bother to check the detailed specifications where there is no mention of crossfire capability using discrete GPUs http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4305#sp

I don't know, I'm new to this. I read " Based on AMD 760G chipset, the 78LMT-USB3 supports the latest 45nm AMD AM3 Phenom II/ Athlon II processors, integrated DDR3 memory controller, HyperTransport™ 3.0 technology links and PCI Express 2.0 graphics interfaces for ATI Hybrid CrossFireX support."

Along with the fact that when I purchased my computer it was mis labeled. I have not the desire or money to consider multi gpu's anyway. Was just wondering why it was mentioned. I didn't think the integrated graphics worked like that, but then again I've never had an older generation gpu.
