Hey all. I have an Optiplex 745 and just want to play newer games at the lowest possible settings. I dont care if I have to decrease my monitor resolution. so I am looking for best GPU that can go with following specs.

CPU: core2duo e6300 @ 1.86ghz
MOBO: DELL 0rf705
RAM:2gb ddr2 (looking to upgrade to 4)

First thing first. Please check your processor speed. It should be 2.8Ghz. You have a PCI express X 16 connector on your motherboard. So any PCI express GPU will support. That RAM update will increase the system's compatibility with most games.

What is your budget? Then we can say what to go with. Also note that your CPU is pretty old and that alone will hang some games even though you put up a good GPU.
