I bought this case Circle CC 830 that came with inbuilt bulge on the motherboard plate of the case that keeps the motherboard few mm away from the case plate. if i place Motherboard Standoffs on that bulges, the IO panel is not lining up with the IO shield. can i install the board to that bulges directly without the Standoffs without any shorts and thus damaging the board?

Solution

Yes if it has like bulbs at the right places where the screws are, like most cases nowdays have there is no need for the standoffs they are just extra for cheaper cases that have a flat backpanel for the motherboard.

i did look at the pictures of the case and yes those are built in standoffs so you are all good to just put the motherboard in.

Thanks for the quick reply
I was just concerned abt board being installed without standoffs. Not familiar with such bulges. I have installed it already, was just afraid to Power it ON.

And happy gaming : )
