Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD3H-BK a good motherboard?
Hey guys i have the following questions about this motherboard:
1/ Nope
2/ Yes as with any Z97 motherboard
3/ Yes it's a good one
4/ I own it and I would say it's close, but I think the Asrock Z97Extreme6 it's a little better value, specially if you plan to use the Ultra M.2 port (PCIe Gen3 x4), being one of the few Z97 motherboard with this port, others only have M.2 port (PCIe Gen2 x2)

I heard this motherboard's default bios setting causes the cpu to overheat? Also even if you change it by putting less voltages to the cpu turbo mood gets less effective, is it true? I am asking you this since you personally own this motherboard. And if I don't plan to use ultra m2 port, would it be the best mobo under 150 range then?(Your Opinion)

It's a "durable" board meaning maybe not the bleeding edge but I pick them for longevity, building a great computer once every 5-7 years and putting the former one to work for another family member, friend or as a workstation. I've even got a DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D 939 from 2005 still working. Durable boards are well worth it.
