I bought a new casing and I was surprised that there is only 1 side to put screws on for the hard disk drive. The hard disk drive is literally hanging by only 2 screws. It also doesn't have a metal tray to sit on. I have assembled several PCs and this is the first time that I encountered such design. The hard disk feels completely normal when it spins. I mean the vibration feels normal to me.
The store policy doesn't really allow replacements unless you can prove that the product is defective. So I am not sure if I can replace this casing since the product itself is not defective.
So is it alright if I just left the hard disk hanging like that?
Have you guys encountered a similar casing?
