Hey everyone

After some issues I decided recently that I would like more ram, although I kind of bought some without asking if it was compatible (I genuinely didn't think that my mobo wouldn't be able to handle it), so it should be here tomorrow, I bought the HyperX FURY Series 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR3 1866MHz CL10 DIMM Memory Module Kit from amazon and it seems my current mobo only supports up to 1600MHz @ 16GB, so now I need to upgrade my mobo, I have been looking at this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00E5YO3U0/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1422375274&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX110_SY165&dpPl=1&dpID=61d9Cb595EL&ref=plSrch

I liked it for the price and I know it is the correct socket and can handle the ram, I don't know if I need to check anything else or if it will fit my case. As an addition I am looking at getting an i7 soon and then maybe start overclocking my cpu and gpu, since I literally know nothing as of now about overclocking would this be a good mobo for that?
Any help would be much appreciated.

My current Specs:
Intel core i5-4430 @ 3.0GHz
Gigabyte H87M-HD3
Corsair Vengeance 8GB
Corsair Enthusiast 750W PSU
Samsung 840 Evo 250GB (OS and programs)
Samsung 840 Evo 500Gb (Games)
Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD (Recording)
Nvidia Windforce GTX 780 3GB OC
Corsair Carbide 300R Case (windowed)
Xonar D1 Sound Card
Windows 8.1 Pro

Yes your current Gigabyte doesn't support more than 1600mhz.

For overclocking you need to get a Z97 chipset board to work best with your i7. Your case supports full size ATX boards so that is no issue.

Here is an excellent motherboard that has all the features you need, overclocks well, supports up to 3000mhz ram, will run your i7 and fit in your case: Price is also very low for what you get from ASUS- a very reputed brand.
