I've been experiencing crackling issues on some songs from all devices in my house. It started with my Macbook but then used my phone, other laptop, and iPad to find the same distortion on tracks that used to be able to playback cleanly.

Here's an example if anyone wants to try it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-4KiszXxHM

by the chorus there's crackling and static issues heard.

I've been wondering if something is causing interference in the house but I have no idea what it may be. The issue is still there with headphones.

Hmmm... if it's present on different devices... then it does sound like some kind of interference. I have a wireless headset that had great sound... but then I later bought a wireless Xbox 360 gamepad and had distortion while listening to music or watching a video with my headset on. I later found out it was caused by my wireless gamepad, which used the same 2.4 Ghz frequency. I resolved it by simply unplugging my gamepad when not using it.

If all your devices are connected via wireless router using the same frequency... have you thought about simply changing the channel on your router? I think a clue would be the signal coming from your router... is it a Wireless N (5 Ghz) or Wireless G (2.4)? Once you answer that... look...

Once you answer that... look around your house to see what devices are using the same frequency and unplug it one by one until you find the culprit.
