I just got a hp pavillion 500-277cb
will my computer handle this graphics card http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-750Ti-GDDR5-Graphics/dp/B00IDG3IDO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1422387016&sr=8-1&keywords=GeForce+GTX+750+Ti
or if you have a better suggestion I'm open to it. Money isn't a problem it is the power supply that is the problem could I change that or am I stuck with it?
but for now if i can't run card above what would be a good solution?

intel core i7 -4770 @ 3.40ghz
300 watt psu
12 gb of ram
intel 4600 igpu

That is because it performs pretty much the same as the GTX 760, it just uses less power. It will still perform 20-30% better than the gtx 750 Ti.

I gave him options for a better GPU from both nvidia and AMD that still keeps him $30-$40 under budget, i edited my post above.

Not necessarily. The 750 Ti is great for light and even some serious gaming. I have a friend who plays BF4 on a 750 Ti, and it can handle that game at 1080p with high settings no problem.

my budget would be 350 dollars total for this month could go higher just need to work over time but 350 is where i'm comfortable. I could put in the gfx card without worry but the power supply is different story are those easy to change out all the wires scare the crap out of me

listen I personally have the EVGA GTX 750Ti FTW and right now it handles all the newer games at very high/ultimate mix settings just have to have the shadows on medium they kill fps so if you want to save some money stick with that card and get a 500-550w PSU with a budget of 350$ you can get a PSU for less than 60$ and if you want a 750W psu for upgrades later on you can get one for 85$ so with a graphics card that costs 160-170$ and a psu that costs 60-85$ you can get both for 220-250$

everyone always recommends the most expensive for the person asking and never thinks to try and save the person asking for advice some money

The PSU isn't very hard to switch out... It connects to your motherboard, HHD, SSD, DVD rom, and video card. Maybe a total of 7-8 places.. You could take a picture of how it is currently plugged in for reference when you put the new PSU in.
