Hello Guys and girls, I'm new here and I have a question. is the Gtx 960 worth it? I have a small factor pc.
Specs: cpu i5-3470( I know Ivy is a bit old, but I don't wanna buy a new motherboard and cpu)
gpu gtx 750
psu corsair 430W
I was wondering if a gtx 960 will be a good upgrade or wait if there's a newer version of 960 like 960ti maybe? Also is the Power supply enough?

Solution
Here's my angle; the 960 delivered, somewhat, the performance people were hoping for at the price they were hoping for. However when you could have an R9-290 for $30 more, I'd seriously have to rethink my stance as an enthusiast. The 960 as it stands is kind of a let down. Budget/extreme budget people will still go with the 270/750ti and middle ground/high end people will still get the 970/290/290X

I'd wait for a 960ti, or at least a 3 or 4GB release of the 960 before I'd gesture to call it a worthwhile buy

The GTX 960 has gotten some good write ups you'll need to see which brand and model best fits your case. I would feel better with Nvidia on small cases since they tend to run cooler then AMD. There has been no news I've seen suggesting there is a 960 Ti version coming out soon.

I've seen talk about two variants that have gotten better ratings but no one is sure which one will be chosen if either or when a 960 Ti will be released.
