Buying a new ssd with existing Hard Drive

I recently built a computer and I used a hard drive I had from the previous pc.
It is giving me very slow startup times and it is very slow to respond after waking up from sleep.

I decided I wanted an ssd to boost my pc's performance, but I don't want to spend $200 on one, so I'm choosing to buy a 128gb ssd and installing it along with my current hard drive for the storage.

Is this a good option for me?
I'm looking at this ssd: http://www.amazon.com/Crucial-MX100-2-5-Inch-Internal-CT128MX100SSD1/dp/B00KFAGD88/ref=zg_bs_1292116011_8

How exactly will this work? I have multiple questions regarding this setup.

Do I need a copy of windows 7 on both of the storage devices?

If I need to install windows on my ssd, do I need to get a new copy of windows or can I use the code that I used with my hard drive?

Will only the things that are stored on my ssd boot up faster? Will I have to install every game I want to load faster on to my ssd? What about my internet browser?

Should I format my hard drive and what will I want to store on there that wont benefit from an ssd?

Thanks a lot for anything that can clear this situation up for me.

"Do I need a copy of windows 7 on both of the storage devices?"

No. Not needed and not recommended.

"...or can I use the code that I used with my hard drive?"
Assuming the same motherboard, yes.

"Will only the things that are stored on my ssd boot up faster? Will I have to install every game I want to load faster on to my ssd? What about my internet browser?"

For a 120+GB SSD, you can install all/most of your applications, apart from games.
An SSD is not only 'boot time'. The whole system feels and works faster.

Thank you for your response!
Will I have to uninstall windows by fragmenting my hard drive before I install it on my ssd
or does it matter?
