I just finished building my first computer and everything was going perfect up until the point of booting off of the optical drive. I went into the bios and unplugged everything to make sure that the computer only saw the disk drive, and it did, i left the bios and after a few seconds it said "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press any key"
so at first i was like well ok ill just open the disk drive and close it without moving the windows 8.1 disk. I pressed enter and it came up again. I really just want to use my computer can someone please answer me.

i want to pick that as the solution so bad but i think the moderators would frown upon that.
EDIT: I think i might have to though because i cant pick my own as the solution.
