So my old card fried unexpectedly and I sent it back to newegg. The thing is it was a limited time card and I now have $150. Im pretty clueless about what card is compatible to what and whats good or not. Can anyone suggest a good card within the $150 range?

I would recommend trying to scrounge up another $13 and go with this.

Otherwise, if you are capped at $150, I would suggest this then.

That card is better than anything you would get for $150 today. I would recommend looking for another used one on ebay or something to crossfire them. For example, your card is equivalent to a r9 280 or GTX 960 which can be found for $180 and $200 respectively.

He fried the 7950 and sent it back to Newegg and got his money back. So now he is looking for another card for $150.

A low temp is something I really need as the temp rises in 100s here in the valley. Although screen tearing is not really a big issue for me. Ill consider the 750 ti for my replacement. Thanks for the suggestions.
