New mouse won't left click (G600)?

Recently I got the Logitech G600 mouse for my computer. Everything was working fine for about 2 weeks until one day when I was resizing Skype, my left mouse button got 'stuck' down on the resize feature, and ever since the left mouse button hasn't really worked. However, it HAD worked (after it originally became 'stuck' and 'unrepsonive' of sorts) after I force shut down my computer by turning off and on the psu then booting it up, and that worked for a few days (sometimes when I booted it up after turning off and on the psu it worked, sometimes it didn't and I'd have to restart the computer by the PSU again). Now, unfortunately, even after multiple attempts of restarting and what not, it seems to just not work. It feels as though my computer has turned off the left mouse button, but I am really not sure why. I have tried unchecking all "Allow windows to turn off device to save power", I have reinstalled countless drivers for the mouse, the software, and even my motherboard itself, and I've tried multiple different ports (so yes I tried unplugging it and plugging it back it). I've also turned off illumination and enhanced graphics to 'save power' incase that is the issue, but I'm not sure if it is working.
Any suggestions would really be appreciated. Thanks!

PS Since the G600 has a mouse button for the ring finger, I can reassign the mouse buttons and have 2 functional buttons again (what I did to get to this website) but it is extremely uncomfortable and I like using the middle mouse buttons and it will take a lot of time to adjust to and I really would just like to use the mouse normally.

If it's within one year... contact Logitech support... most times they'll know if it's under warranty by the serial.. If nothing else, just get the email sent to them and see what they say... perhaps they'll send you a new mouse. When I had problems with my webcam.. they just mailed me a new one and told me to trash the one that didn't work.

The only thing I can recommend is either take it apart to investigate the actual button inside the shell, and hopefully it is something you can fix that is making it stick. Or go buy a new mouse.

All of the restarting that you were having to do to make it work, I wouldn't have even put up with that. I would have pulled the mouse apart and if I couldn't fix it I would have just went and bought a new one.

If you have another computer... you could try plugging it into that without installing any software.. if it works... then you'll know it's not a hardware issue. I've used Logitech stuff for years and know how problematic the drivers can be. What you could do is uninstall the driver again... then go to Folder Options to show hidden folders... after that, go to ProgramData and delete Logitech (Logishrd) and then go to AppData and delete the Logitech folders from Local and Roaming... then restart... and then reinstall everything all over... that might work.

1) Try mouse on a different PC.

2) Download the Logitech driver software if you have not.

3) Try on same PC using Linux if stuck (boot to an Ubuntu DVD for example)

Summary:
Mice in basic usage should be plug and play. If you get the same issue on another PC it's a defective mouse. If you don't it's a software issue, either drivers or something corrupted in Windows.

Linux on the same PC also verifies hardware or software as the cause though a different PC is probably best.

Other (not your issue I believe, but it may happen with your mouse):
Does this feel like a PHYSICAL issue like the left side is pushing against something?

Possibly resulting in a "two click" sensation?

On my Logitech mouse I ended up solving this by jamming a small piece of folded paper-thin tin-foil/plastic (pain patch) into the LEFT-REAR side of the mouse. This altered the way the top of the mouse flexed and has mostly worked perfectly.

If this is your issue it's the only solution I know of. I know many models for several years have the same issue due to a design flaw.

So, I unplugged it put it into my laptop, and it didn't work. Installed the drivers, nope. But I put it back into my computer, and it WORKS. Like what? I have no clue personally.
