POST new pc without Graphic Card

Built a gaming new pc. My new card Sapphire R9 290 Trix-oc is in transit and will take some time to be delivered.
I have installed the rest parts into the case except the graphic card.
My processor and motherboard doesn't have on-board graphics.
Can I still POST it and check if the other parts have been installed correctly without connecting to monitor?

No. it will not get damage but whats the point if you wont be able to see anything? you will hear the beeps but thats about it.

You could chuck a spare GPU in. A 32MB one would do. :)

I will suggest you to just wait. if your motherboard has a LED for post then go ahead and check at the codes it will give you. Also by the beeps if it has a speaker "Mobo" but I will just wait for the GPU and check all.

Yes, it has a mobo speaker. If I POST it now without GPU, are there any chances of anything getting damaged?
