Mechanical Keyboard Keycaps Question

Are all mechanical keycaps compatible with every mechanical keyboard? Say If I bought custom keycaps or swapped keycaps with a friend's mechanical keyboard.

I'm interested in buying mechanical keycaps but I'm bot too sure if they would fit onto my Logitech G710+ Mechanical Keyboard, just curious.

i think not all are compatible. the common ones are mx switches, so you your keyboard uses mx, you can use those keycaps compatible to it. it usually say that these keycaps are compatible with these, and things like that

Make sure your friend has Cherry MX switches, Razer Switches or Topre switches and you will be fine. As for keycaps I personally use OCUK labs metal keycaps but are you thinking of plastic or metal?

Metals are too expensive?

Just look around for 'Cherry MX keycaps' if you see a colour switch it doesn't matter at all
