windows 8.1 not supporting my wireless dongle

Solution
The cdr King site says:

•Chipset:Realtek 8188CU

When looking for drivers like that (network devices, bluetooth etc.) It's always helpful to check the site of the manufacturer of the chipset. In this case Realtek have a driver on their site. Got to the following link and search the page for "8188CU". There is a driver/utility download for Windows 8.

http://www.realtek.com.tw/DOWNLOADS/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=21&PFid=48&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false&Downloads=true

It seems that CDR King did not bother distributing any drivers or making their own, instead they relied on customers finding the generic Realtek drivers. I get that it's a cheapo site, but they could at least have some links to Realtek available...
