Hello guys i am looking forward to buy a new gaming mice. It is the first time that i will buy a good mice because all this years i had some random mouse of 5-10$. I am playing mostly FPS games like CS GO. I am a left hand guy so i was looking for the Deathadder Left Hand Edition. But after some research i saw that Steelseries Rival is also a very good mice specially for FPS games. The problem is that Steelseries do not have a left hand edition for Rival. I can not find it at any local store to see it at the moment and i do not know if it will be comfortable for me. The most safe option is Deathadder i guess but i would love to have Rival too. Do you know any other mice for FPS that would be good for Left Handed? I was thinking about Razer Abyssus too but i read about some tracking issues.. :??:
PS. Sorry if English are bad it is not my native language! :)

I had a pretty bad time choosing a mouse dude, csgo is pure aim game and reflexes.
I got the most expensive one from razer (Oroboros), I sucked with it.

needed a lighter one
Kana is perfect weight for me, life is good and easier now.
gold nova to MGE :D

Wait.. Hold on... I think I'm the perfect person to answer your question.

First off...DO NOT buy the left-handed Deathadder. I'm also a Lefty and I bought that same exact mouse a few years back and it has a very, very, very serious design flaw.

Allow me to explain. That left-handed mouse has the left and right click buttons hardwired to be in reversed. Now, if that's how you use the mouse.. then it's fine... but... being left-handed... I use the same button layout as a right handed person... meaning the left button I use to select... and right button brings up the menu. Yes, you can swap the button layout in the driver software... but there lies the problem... Since that mouse is HARDWIRED to have the buttons in reverse... the software setting to swap those buttons are ignored in certain games.. Not all games.. just a select few of them. I found that Skyrim and Battlefield 3 would simply not allow me to swap back my buttons when the game is running... not even doing the swap from the control panel in Windows worked. I checked around and everyone who used that Deathadder Left handed mouse had the same exact problem... and there is no known fix. Once you exit the game... your buttons will revert back to the settings you want...

As a result, I had to go out and buy another ambidextrous mouse to use.. since I can't use a right-handed mouse.

So take my advice and listen... if you like having your left/right buttons in reverse while using a left-handed mouse... then the Deathadder would be perfect for you.. it's big and feels great... but if you need to swap your buttons... you will have lots of trouble with a few games. My Deathadder is sitting on a shelf in my room... haven't used it in ages...

I think ur totally confused.

an ambidextrous mouse is the best option for a left hand use.

You misread the original question. The asker inquired about buying a LEFT-HANDED mouse... the Deathadder.. and I told him of a serious design flaw in that mouse. An ambidextrous mouse is great for left handed people... I never said anything about not getting that... hahahahah
