soo i am getting this Mobo http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A78LMUSB3/ and planning to put a fx-6300 in it but i was told i might need to update the bios, using a older cpu, is this correct, if so what version up date it to from the sties info plz. and i am planning to use my old phenom ii x4 960t to update it. Thanks

bios 1401 that came out on 9/13/2012 is the fist bios to support that cpu. I would call the sells people and ask for a mb with bios latter then 1401.
