I currently have:

Core i5-2500k (OC'd)
8gb corsair xms3 ddr3 1600 ram
Asus P8Z68-v Pro/Gen3 LGA1155 mobo
Sapphire Radeon HD7950 3gb 384bit GDDR5 vid card (OC'd)

I want to get better frame rates and not sure if I should crossfire a 2nd HD7950 or upgrade my motherboard/mem/processor. Money is limited to around $500 and I can get another HD7950 for around $100. I'm a pc gamer so any advice/opinions would be great.

What's your PSU make/model? If your PSU can handle it, a second 7950 is by far the best gaming upgrade for the money in that system.

With a bit of the money you have left over, I also suggest an SSD if you don't have one already.

Cheers!

I have an XFX Core Edition PRO850W (P1-850S-NLB9) 850W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply.

Yeah I have 2 SSD's in now for just over 500gb between them.. (1 is for bootup and other is for FPS games).. So the general consensus would be to Xfire a 2nd one?
