Fortron PSU, anyone heard about them?

Solution
Fortron Source (FSP) is a company with a long track record of building quality power supplies. They manufacture and CQ everything in-house instead of outsourcing, which gives them excellent results where quality and consistancy are concerned. I have used several PSU's by FSP because they were featured in an article I read over 10 years back that discussed power supply quality.

You will pay a bit more for an FSP PSU, but their quality is up there with some of the best.

Hm, I'm not sure, either Forton Hyper 700 or EVGA 600B Bronze. Price is very similar.

AMD FX-8320
GTX 960
ASUS M5A97 EVO R2.0
8GB Kingston HyperX DDR3 at 1866MHz
Western Digital 500GB HDD at 7200rpm
I intend to overclock the CPU and the GPU, but nothing too much.

The FSP Hyper Series Hyper 700 should be more than sufficient to handle your system configuration including overclocking of both the CPU and GPU.

The Antec VP700P is based on the FSP Hyper Series Hyper 700 platform.

Well, I'm more interested if the PSU will be stable enough for safe use.
Or perhaps this PSU, Corsair VS650
http://www.alzashop.com/corsair-vs650-d2191760.htm
Equal price, but I feel safer about Corsair.

The Corsair VS Series VS650 (SKU# 75-001837 / CP-9020098) is more than sufficient too.

The OEM for the Corsair VS Series VS650 (SKU# 75-001837 / CP-9020098) is CWT (i.e. Channel Well Technology). It looks like it's based upon CWT's GPM platform.

Corsair targets the VS Series for home or office systems with lower power demands.

Hmm, could that PSU handle GIGABYTE R9 280x OC, recommended system PSU for this GPU is 600W, I'll put in max another SSD or HDD, I posted my build a few posts back.

If you don't overclock the AMD FX 8320 CPU it may be able to. The power draw increases quickly when overclocking that CPU. A 500 MHz overclock will increase power draw by almost 100 Watts.

GIGABYTE's 600W recommendation for the R9 280X WindForce OC is for a system that isn't overclocked. The reference PC, used to derive the system PSU requirement, is configured with an Intel Core i7 3.2GHz 130 Watt TDP processor.

techPowerUp.com measured a maximum power draw of 347 Watts, for the Gigabyte R9 280X WindForce OC 3 GB [GV-R928XOC-3GD] graphics card itself, during their review of that card.
