Can a 220W PSU power a graphics card?

Solution
here is a single slot 750ti which should work. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127836

your cpu is about 75w and this gpu is about 65w. you should have no problems even if it is only a 220w psu. check the psu label to see how many 12v amps it has. you will be good to go with this card if you have 16 or more 12v amps. if not, then you would need a lower power card. also do a quick measurement to be sure you can fit the card in lengthwise. this card is 5.75 inches long. measure from the back of the case where it will stick out to the first thing you hit to measure the length you can use.

the next step down would be a gt 730 which only uses about 40w. this will give better graphics than the integrated but you...

the 750/750ti is only a 60w gpu. a system with only a 220w psu would have a low end cpu as well that is probably less than 60w itself. such a system would have no issues running on 220w. would be 175w max system usage or probably less.

but i need to know the rest of the system to be sure.

I would consider a pair of 7950's in SLI in that system.

Lol, thats awesome, well my rationale obviously is fun and humor/humour.
If you ladies want to ban me then I understand.

I stand by my comments, 2 x 7950 and an 220w AMD CPU would be my choice!
