Hi guys :D I've been looking for Components for my friends upcomming build, and i just want to be sure the components will work together :)

Build:

Motherboard : Asus z97-ar
CPU : i7 4770k
Graphics card: Asus 970 strix
Ram : Kingston DC ddr3 2x4gb 2400mhz
Powersupply : Corsair rm 650
storage : Western digital green 1tb

wil it turn out good? or would you choose something else? would love to hear from you :D thanks :)

Solution
You do not want a Green or LP drive as the only drive in the system; they are slugs. Either use it as a data drive along with a SSD for the OS and programs, or get a WD Black if he has more limited funds.
Getting DDR3-1600 may make more money available for better drives.

I agree on the WD black (or even their Blue drives), but I'd go the 212 EVO over most any in that alternative lists, some cost more, most are within a couple dollars of the EVO and if going to OC the EVO beats most all of them (some I wouldn't touch). They are great on Haswell CPUs, am running 4.6 with a 4770K 24/7 with an EVO on my Z87, being there at highest selling and best rated says quite a bit

thanks for the answers :D reason we choose to go overkill on some stuff, is because we plan to add an extra card in the future for when game get more demanding. also the ram at 2400mhz was on sale and was just a sily 10 dollars more expensive then the 1600mhz version. ;D
