Hello there,
I have a problem with running Corsair Vengeance White 4GB DDR3 Ram-CML8GX3M2A1600C9W, 1600mhz, 1,35v. I got 2 of them as a present from my cousin, cause he is changing his computer. When I install them and try to turn them on, the computer doesnt start, just makes few beeps. Can the problem come from incompatibility with the processor or the mainboard? The processor is Sandy Bridge i3-2100, 3.10ghz. The mainboard is Asus P8H61-EVO.
Im asking here cause my technician is off the grid and im kinda newbie hardware-wise. Tried to find some compatilibility list but didnt have much luck. If you can help me with any info, I'd be most grateful
Thanks for the attention and sorry for disturbance=)

That RAM kit is compatible with your board, so I wouldn't worry about that. You can try what Tradesman suggested above, bump the DRAM voltage and see if that fixes the problem. I would also make sure both sticks are properly seated on the board's DIMM slots for full pin contact. Try one stick at the time and see if you get one stick to load OS properly and one not, because It's possible that one stick is faulty and causing your system to hang. But note that when testing each stick, use the second DIMM slot away from the CPU (on your board blue slot) for channel consistency.

I upped the voltage to 1.5. Tried one at the blue slot, it worked. Then tried the second one to the other blue slot and it works perfectly..im writing from this computer now=)
For some reason the gray slots didnt work. Sorry if its a stupid question, but does that mean they are unfitted for such ram?...just asking for the future if should i use just the blue ones and upgrade them, and not the other ones for additional ram pair?

Its a e97379-001 Intel cooler. It didnt seem overly tight, but nonetheless loosened it a lil and resnugged it neat, not extremely tight. To no avail, however...still not working.
