Hi I'm very new to building pcs and overclocking but i want to overclock my cpu to 4.3ghz. I went into my motherboard's bios and went to cpu unlock and unlocked it. then after that i went to cpu clock ratio to adjust it and the second i inputted a number it froze and i had to restart. then for about 20 minutes or so my pc kept freezing and/or black screening within minutes of booting up. i reset the bios and everything has been normal since but i still want to overclock. I'm wondering did i miss a step or do something wrong? How should i properly proceed with the overclock if i can?
