how do i know my gpu is working properly?

how do i know my gpu is working properly? i rethermal pasted my gtx 770 and im afraid i bent or messed up some of the pins on the pcb right next to the gpu.

You put it back in and turn the computer on. If nothing comes up then you might have messed something up. And if it starts up you're 99% in the clear.

Play a game. If it's the same as before then you're fine.

And if you're still paranoid - stress it as mentioned.

If you're still paranoid after all that - buy a new card.

while running the stress test gpu usage is at 98 drops to 97 sometimes but usually stays at 98. gpu temps tops at 80c. is that normal? shouldnt my gpu usage constantly be at 99?
