VMware Server RIG FX8320 | Low on Budget Please

Hello Friends,

I am looking to bind up this rig with below specs. Help me get a good Graphic Card. ( very tight on budget)
Keys: NO Overclocking , Not a lot of gaming since I need this for Vmware workstation Practice .

AMD FX 8230
GA 970A UD3P
Sapphire R7 260x or R7 250x or HD 7770 OR suggest me some 1 GB D5 graphic card a decent one please. (Should be Close under INR 9000)
500G WD HDD
CM EVO 212
NO SSD P
CORSAIR CS450W v3

Suggest me changes that I should make to make best use and in same budget.
I will run games on low and med with 720p and my main concern is VMware machines and those should be running properly.

Also do I need CM cooler , I want to run this rig for next 5 years. ?????


If there is option for Intel on same budget I can shift as well but I don't think there is any chance.

Please Help me Folks.

No better offer price/cores than the FX-8320 for a budget build so you're good with it, I build my PC also focusing on Vmachines/VRouters, I hope you're getting at least 16GB of RAM, you'll need them for your virtual environment.

As for the video card, either the r7 260x or the GTX 750 Ti are a great option, there are cheaper cards like the r7 250 but the drop in performance is huge so better invest a little more in either of the first two options.

Then i probably go with Sapphire R7 260x seems good with budget.
Since I have 8 Gigs RAM then I ll probably add the 8 Gigs later since I allocate 1 gig to each vm so atleast I can 4 VMs at a single point of time.

PSU is good I suppose ? 450W will do R7 260x .

One thing more, do we have any other choice with 1 GB D5 since I don't get much time for gaming . I wont be using the card much.

Also, do I need a CM cooler for FX8320 as I want this RIG to run atleast 5 years.
I wont be keeping this RIG in AC room so just normal room temp.?

I will mostly use this a VMware server to test my things and movies and stuff.

Yes you will need that CM cooler, you'll be using all 8 cores and that's what gets this CPU so hot.

As for the Video card, you could indeed go with a less expensive solution, just don't expect to be able to play latest games, maybe not even at lowest settings. Perhaps a GT 730 which costs around 70$.
